Traineeship Opportunities
for a period of 3-6 months for students of agricultural sciences or adjacent disciplines.
The goal of the traineeship is it to gain an overview of and a deeper insight into the various areas of the company's work. Our trainees are engaged in all the different areas and are introduced to the necessary work steps and methods.
Besides molecular-biological and biotechnological work (in vitro-culture of plants, plant transformation and regeneration, molecular cloning techniques, PCR, etc.), this also covers gardening work in the greenhouse (handling and cultivation of cuttings, performing stress tests, data acquisition in the course of experimental evaluations, etc.)
Trainees will be able to work partially on their own small projects independently. Beyond that they will be engaged in helping OBS employees with routine tasks in current projects.
